| As soon as a child a comes out from a mother’s womb he/she takes the shape of a person and the aspects of law pertaining to his/her personality accrue. In this world his/her journey till death, is regulated by a set of laws which creates his/her rights and duties. During this journey of life, the remedies related to social problems with regards to balancing of rights and duties are administered through the court as remedies related to human body are available in hospitals. Indeed the extent of civilization and culture of a nation can be gauged by its laws. People in their primitive culture need no law and no lawyers. As they are advance and their mind expand and grow more subtle and refined their laws multiply and their administration follows a definite course which calls for the presence of talented lawyers. Laws are organic and living organism and hence subject to continues upgradation pacing with the needs of society. The branches of law have multiplied and a common man cannot comprehend them. So they need law experts who can plead their cases. Legal professionals are now in almost parallel requirement to management professionals. Virtually every institution is in the requirement of a legal cell managed by legal professionals. Projection reflect, that law professionals will be required in lacs with in four five years. So the Bar council of India is encouraging the establishment of law school in large numbers.
DEWAN LAW COLLEGE has comes up very well with B.A.LL.B. 5yrs and now LL.B. 3yrs with the passage of time and evolution of students as well as the faculty from the first year of education itself.

Message From Dewan Law College
Legal erudition is fast becoming the demand of modern day scenario. The dire necessity of legal awareness in view of global corporate exposure and complexities of dealings has also played a major role in increasing the demand of law education. The urgency to protect the rights guaranteed under the constitution for unabated functioning of every organization, makes it a mandatory feature to know the legal world.
Law education has undergone a paradigm shift during the past two decades. Law is a human Institution. It is associated with all aspects of human existence. Naturally it is influenced by several factors interacting with the human beings. Lawyers have, therefore, stared looking upon law as integrated discipline, drawing inspiration from different disciplines. It is being applied as an instrument of public governance, which at every stage insists upon rule of law rather than rule of men. Law is an unavoidable combination of eliminating arbitrariness and fostering fairness.
This absolute situation has impelled the law schools to teach and learn law in the context of several disciplines such as History, Sociology, Psychology, Economics, English, Political Science, Education etc. It equips the students with the ability to solve the human problems in the wake of corruption creeping into our society.
Realizing the gravity of the present scenario the Dewan Law College has harnessed the capabilities to make an enhanced institution for upcoming lawyers for the new millennium.
